A very unusual and interesting Fluorescent mineral. Unknown grey-black scalenohedron crystals with secondary overgrowth of hexagonal-columnar Calcite on a fine Quartz crystal druse matrix.
The photos were taken in bright sunlight to bring out the best colour. Please note that the fluorescence vary according to the UV wavelength and strength of the light. The photo of the fluorescent mineral is only an indication of the fluorescent colour.
